Donald Trump Junior’s meeting with a Russian lawyer has got an hour’s coverage in mainstream media in the last four days, but the Clinton’s Russian uranium deal only a few minutes in 2015. Umpteen double standard!
Donald Trump Junior was lured by the Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya after being promised damaging revelation on Hillary Rodham Clinton during the presidential campaign. As Natalia Veselnitskaya did not keep her promise, he left the meeting after ten minutes. She thought that the enticement was the only way to meet him in order to help her to overturn the adoption ban of Russian orphans if his father were elected president. She is a lobbyist trying to repeal the Magnitsky Act of 2012.
More intriguing, Veselnitskaya was in New York after her visa had expired on January 7, 2016. An unknown person or an unknown authority in the Obama administration granted her a parole. However, this privilege is only agreed in an extraordinary circumstance such as a participation in a civil court. Because her presence did not respond to a significant public benefit, one can surmise that the Obama administration had a special interest for her presence in the country during the presidential campaign. I let you draw your own conclusion. In an exclusive interview with CBS, she confirmed that she never worked for the Russian government.
Democrats claim that Donald Trump Junior is a traitor but the US code says otherwise.
Hillary Clinton’s former running mate Senator Tim Kaine said to CNN reporters, We are now beyond obstruction of justice in terms of what is being investigated. This is moving into perjury, false statement, and even potentially treason.
Treason is defined as follows in the U.S code & 2381. Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
Treason is the only crime listed in the US constitution, and the last American sentenced for treason was Tomoya Kawakita in 1952.
The sentence was examined by the U.S. Supreme Court because Kawakita had a dual American-Japanese citizenship. He was born in California to Japanese parents. He was in Japan when the Second World War broke out, and stayed there until the end of the war. After returning to the U.S. in 1946 when he enrolled at the University of Southern California, he was recognized by a former prisoner of war. He was arrested and charged by the FBI for treason for having mistreated Allied prisoners of war in a mining camp, which included 400 American soldiers. He claimed that he could not be found guilty of treason because he was deprived of his American citizenship when he registered officially as a Japanese national in 1943. Dual citizenship is very difficult to obtain in Japan.
The case was a byzantine one examined by SCOTUS. In Japan, Kawakita was deprived of his American citizenship, but the American courts, including SCOTUS, ruled that he had kept it during the war. Therefore, Kawakita was convicted of treason, but President Eisenhower commuted his sentence to life imprisonment plus a $10.000 fine. After the commutation, he was transferred to Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary where notorious criminals ended their life. However, on October 24, 1963, President Kennedy, in what could be one of his last official acts before his assassination in Dallas, released him from Alcatraz on the condition that he leaves the country, and be banned from ever returning.
In consideration of the stringent U.S. code, Donald Trump junior cannot be accused of treason. Neither did he levy an army to fight the U.S. nor did he adhere to enemies, giving them comfort or aid within the country or elsewhere. Therefore, Tim Kaine’s claim is baseless.
If the alleged collusion between the Russian government and the Trump presidential campaign team is endlessly aired by mainstream media, a real one occurred between the Clinton’s couple, Russian President Putin and Kazakhstan President Nazarbayev.
At the request of Canadian investor Frank Guista, former President Bill Clinton went to Kazakhstan, in 2005, to meet his corrupt president Nazarbayev. As usual for his wealthy friends, Bill Clinton delivered the kind of speech praising his qualities, and a couple of days later, Guista got a uranium concession that he could never have got through a standard application. Unsurprisingly, the Clinton foundation received a donation of $31.3 million from Guista a month later.
The uranium concession was named Uranium One as the company went on a buying spree of uranium assets across the US. (1) However, uranium is not an ordinary commodity; the sale of an American company requires the approval of the US government, including the State Department. When a Chinese company wanted a 51% stake in a small American gold company in Nevada in 2009, which was closed to a secret military base, the U.S diligently killed the deal for strategic reason. For a reason beyond understanding, Uranium One‘s buying spree in the U.S. never received such scrutiny from the Obama government.
This strategic company, based in Kazakhstan, was coveted by the Russian consortium Rosatom, which bought it in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013. Coincidentally, Hillary Clinton was heading the State Department, and the Clinton foundation received $145 million in donations from Canadian mining magnates who had funneled their cash from their stake in Uranium One.
The sale of Uranium One gave Russia control of one fifth of American uranium production. Bill Clinton received a $500.000 reward for a speech delivered in Moscow from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock. More damning for the Clinton’s probity, the story was revealed by the New York Times on April 23, 2015, which could not be suspected of partisanship. (2)
It was a win-win deal for the Clinton’s couple, for their foundation, for Frank Guista, for Rosatom, and for Vladimir Putin who had a keen interest in dominating the strategic uranium world market. The losers were the American taxpayer, the American nation, the Western World to name a few. …
Unsurprisingly, the coverage of the Russian uranium deal did not exceed three minutes in mainstream media in 2015. Donald Trump Junior’s alleged treason is much worse than the Clinton’s malfeasance for mainstream media.
When the prophet, Jesus Christ, was interrogated by the prefect of the Roman province of Judea, Pontius Pilate, he answered, My kingdom is not of this world; if it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews.
In other words, there is no justice in this world dominated by crony capitalism nurtured by the Clinton’s. It explains why they are trying to impeach or destitute President Trump by all means. Good luck Mr President for keeping your campaign’s promise of cleaning the swamp in Washington infested by rascals and scoundrels!
